CONNECT EC – TERMS & CONDITIONS
Effective Date: 10th December 2025
By accessing, registering on, or using the Connect EC platform, including its mobile application, website, or related services (“Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Platform immediately. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Connect EC.
1. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms, “Platform” refers to the Connect EC mobile application, website, systems, and services. “Employer” means any organization or authorized representative using the Platform to post jobs and engage Recruiters or Candidates. “Recruiter” refers to a person authorized by an Employer to conduct hiring-related activities. “Candidate” means an individual using the Platform to seek employment or interact with Employers or Recruiters. “User” means any person accessing or using the Platform. “Content” includes all data, information, messages, documents, images, videos, and materials uploaded or shared through the Platform.
2. Nature of Service
Connect EC is a technology-enabled facilitation platform that connects Employers, Recruiters, and Candidates. Connect EC does not guarantee employment, verify all user information, act as an agent or representative, or participate in employment contracts or commercial arrangements between Users. All hiring decisions are solely the responsibility of the Users involved.
3. User Eligibility and Representations
By using the Platform, Users represent that they are at least eighteen years of age, that all information provided is accurate and complete, and that they will comply with applicable laws. Users agree not to impersonate others, misuse the Platform, or engage in illegal or harmful activities. Any false representation may result in suspension, termination, or legal action.
4. Registration and Account Security
Users may be required to register using valid contact details. Users are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activities conducted through their accounts. Connect EC reserves the right to modify or remove accounts or usernames that are inappropriate or violate these Terms.
5. User Responsibilities and Conduct
All Users shall use the Platform in a lawful, ethical, and professional manner.
Employers are responsible for posting genuine job opportunities, providing accurate information, managing Recruiters under their accounts, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws. All actions taken by Recruiters shall be deemed actions of the Employer. Employers are solely responsible for interviews, feedback, and all content uploaded through their accounts.
Recruiters shall communicate professionally, provide accurate information, respect Candidate privacy, and maintain integrity in hiring processes.
Candidates shall provide accurate information, behave professionally, and engage honestly with Employers and Recruiters.
6. Prohibited Activities
Users shall not engage in unauthorized access, reverse engineering, data scraping, malware distribution, impersonation, harassment, submission of false information, or any activity that is illegal or harmful. Users shall not misuse Platform content for competing commercial purposes.
7. User-Generated Content and Communications
The Platform provides in-app communication features. Connect EC does not actively monitor communications but may access content for compliance, safety, or legal purposes. Users are solely responsible for their content. By posting content, Users grant Connect EC a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use such content for Platform operations. Connect EC may remove content at its discretion.
8. Gamification and Badges
The Platform may offer recognition badges or points based on user participation. Such badges are indicative only and do not create any legal rights or obligations.
9. License to Use Platform
Users are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use the Platform in accordance with these Terms.
10. Third-Party Services
The Platform may integrate third-party services. Connect EC is not responsible for the policies or practices of third-party providers.
11. Enforcement and Safety
Connect EC reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, fraudulent conduct, or legal non-compliance. Connect EC may cooperate with law enforcement authorities as required by law.
12. Termination
Users may discontinue use of the Platform at any time. Connect EC may suspend or terminate access without prior notice for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, user access shall cease immediately.
13. Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided on an “as is” basis. Connect EC shall not be liable for employment outcomes, user decisions, or user-generated content, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
14. Dispute Resolution
All disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat of arbitration shall be Chennai, India, the language shall be English, and the arbitration shall be conducted by a sole arbitrator. Courts at Chennai shall have jurisdiction for interim relief and enforcement.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
16. Privacy Policy
Use of the Platform is subject to the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
17. Changes to Terms
Connect EC may modify these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
18. Intellectual Property Rights
All content, materials, and works available on or through the Connect EC platform, including but not limited to software, documentation, workflows, user interfaces, text, graphics, icons, badges, scores, and visual elements, are the exclusive property of PRIMETHIC or its licensors and are protected under the Copyright Act, 1957, trademark laws, and other applicable intellectual property laws.
The platform name Connect EC, and badge identifiers including HonestTalent and RockstaRecruiter, are registered wordmarks owned by PRIMETHIC.
The timer-driven ethical action framework, including its documented structure, sequencing, and expressive implementation of timers, scores, and badges, is protected as a copyrighted literary work.
Except as expressly permitted under these Terms, no part of the Platform or its content may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, displayed, transmitted, or exploited in any form without the prior written consent of PRIMETHIC.

1. Introduction
Connect EC (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of users (“you”, “your”, or “Data Principal”) who access or use the Connect EC mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) and other applicable global data protection laws. By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Platform.
2. About Connect EC
Connect EC is a gamified ethical hiring platform designed to connect Employers, Recruiters, and Candidates through technology-driven hiring workflows. To operate efficiently and improve service quality, Connect EC processes personal data in accordance with global privacy principles, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and other applicable regional regulations. This unified Privacy Policy applies to all users worldwide.
3. Information We Collect
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when registering or using the Platform, including your name, phone number, email address, resume details, education, work experience, skills, profile photographs, uploaded documents, employer or recruiter identification details, job preferences, application history, and identity verification information where required. This information enables us to provide hiring and recruitment services effectively.
4. Behavioural and Usage Information
To enhance platform performance and hiring outcomes, we collect behavioural and activity-related data such as interview scheduling activity, feedback exchanged between users, engagement levels, gamification progress, clickstream data, navigation patterns, time spent on the Platform, and hiring funnel progression. This information helps us generate insights, predictive indicators, and service improvements.
5. Device and Technical Information
We automatically collect certain technical and device-related information, including device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, browser information (for website users), crash reports, diagnostics data, system logs, and network performance metrics. This data is used to maintain platform security, stability, and performance.
6. App Permissions
Subject to your explicit consent, the Platform may request optional permissions such as access to your camera for profile images, storage for uploading resumes or documents, microphone for voice-based features, location for relevant job suggestions and fraud prevention, contacts for referrals, and social accounts for login or profile import. Denial of optional permissions may restrict certain features but will not prevent basic access to the Platform.
7. How We Use Your Information
We use personal data strictly for legitimate and lawful purposes, including matching candidates with suitable job opportunities, enabling employers and recruiters to identify relevant talent, improving interview scheduling efficiency, providing hiring insights and predictive indicators, enabling in-app communication and notifications, personalizing user experience, improving platform performance, preventing fraud and misuse, securing the Platform, and complying with legal obligations. We do not sell personal data to advertisers or unrelated third parties.
8. Legal Basis for Processing
Personal data is processed based on lawful grounds, including your freely given consent, purpose-based processing necessary for providing Platform services, and compliance with applicable legal obligations. You may withdraw your consent at any time through app settings or by contacting us via email. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to such withdrawal.
9. Sharing of Information
Personal data may be shared with Employers and Recruiters when a Candidate applies for a role, expresses interest, or participates in hiring workflows. Shared data may include profile information, job-related activity, and hiring journey status. We may also share data with trusted third-party service providers such as analytics services, hosting providers, communication APIs, authentication providers, and security partners, who act as Data Processors and are contractually obligated to process data only in accordance with our instructions and applicable laws.
10. Legal and Business Disclosures
We may disclose personal data where required by law, regulation, court order, or government authority, or as part of compliance investigations. In the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or asset transfer, personal data may be transferred as part of the transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.
11. Children’s Privacy
The Platform is not intended for individuals below eighteen (18) years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If a minor account is identified, it will be deleted promptly.
12. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organisational security measures, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, secure servers, access controls, monitoring, and regular audits. While we take reasonable steps to protect personal data, no system is completely secure, and users acknowledge the inherent risks of online platforms.
13. Data Retention
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, detect fraud, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Upon receipt of a valid deletion request, personal data will be deleted or anonymised, except where retention is required by law or regulatory obligations.
14. Your Rights
Depending on applicable laws, you have the right to access, correct, delete your personal data, withdraw consent, opt out of marketing communications, request details of data processing activities, and nominate another individual to act on your behalf in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. 15. Cross-Border Data Transfers
Your personal data may be stored or processed outside your country of residence. In such cases, we ensure appropriate safeguards, lawful transfer mechanisms, and compliance with cross-border data transfer requirements under the DPDP Act and other applicable regulations.
16. Data Breach Notification
In the event of a personal data breach that poses a risk to users, Connect EC will notify affected individuals and relevant regulatory authorities, including India’s Data Protection Board where applicable, in accordance with legal requirements.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect feature enhancements, security updates, or legal developments. Material changes will be communicated through in-app notifications or email. Continued use of the Platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
